[artshow_photo] Re: Omaha Summer Arts Festival

No storms last year but oppressive heat killed the crowds and sales the first couple of days. It cooled off on Sunday and sales were good, but not good enough to make up for the poor results the previous days.

They moved the date due to scheduling conflict with the city regarding the site. Hopefully the new, earlier date will mean cooler weather (and no increased chances of storms).

I'm debating whether I should drive the 500 or so miles or stay closer to home for a mediocre show. I will probably give it a try. I remember seeing images from a terrible storm there a few years back, so I know to bring lots of weight!
