OK - first of all the protests have absolutely nothing, to do about money -
let's get that straight! You can ask 99% of the protesters and it's not about
money - most say they would give MORE if asked!

Steve was asking a valid question - not looking for symphony!

The general population's income will increase by whatever their prorata
portion of that 8% is. I am a public employee in Florida and we have always
paid a heck of a lot more that 12% of our health insurance and a big chunk
of retirement too. So my sympathy is nonexistent.
