You can get the official upgrade either from Amazon or directly from Adobe
at the upgrade price which I think is in the neighborhood of $189.00. CS3
can be upgraded to CS5. I did it. CS5 is lightyears ahead of CS3 in
functionality. I also recommend upgrading from Lightroom 1 or 2 to
Lightroom 3 which is a vast improvement. I use Lightroom and Bridge much
more that CS5. In my business I need to use the official Adobe products.
When you get the programs use the included tutorials and plan on attending
at least one of the available classes. I also recommend that you join Scott
Kilby's club. They give you some discounts on the products.
