LOL - excellent question - I was at the protests the last few days in Wisconsin
(30,000) - double that today) and I finally got my iPhone out and I had that
VERY question (never using the camera before).

It flips - so yes - you have to turn the camera horizontally to tale a
horizontal picture.

I've yet to purchase a smart phone but I have a two questions about
the images captured by a cell phone camera.

If the camera is held upright, is the image captured vertically? Do
you have to turn the camera horizontally to tale a horizontal picture?
