Re: [artshow_photo] Re: Can I get a review of my proposed prices for the upcoming year?

I sell my 16 x 20 prints very nicely matted and framed, in a high quality frame
for $250.00.

I started with lower quality frames, and they did not sell.  I made the switch
to much higher quality frames and matting, and I started selling.  I think that
most people who come to art festivals are looking for quality.  They don't want
to hang something on their wall that looks like they bought it at Walmart.

I think people also judge quality by the price sticker.  If you price too low,
they think it must not be very high quality.

And a quality frame with professional matting, chosen to accent that specific
photo, can make a huge difference in the appearance of your photo.

Sorry, Those are the sizes of the image itself. So a matted 16x20 measures
20x24.

By the largest one do you mean just the framed 16x20? If so, that's kind of
intentional. They're really cheap frames that looked a lot better online than on
the wall. I want to get rid of them. What would you suggest pricing a 16x20 in a
decient frame at?

Are these print sizes or outer mat sizes?

Please always specify both print and outer mat size when referencing
your price vs. size.

for example, 5x7 print matted 8x10.

No matter whether it's a print or mat, your largest size is priced way too low.
