Heirs?? Where do you get this information?? They could certainly sue you and maybe your Estate, but I don't understand how they can sue your heirs unless they participated in the fraud.

Most of the better shows here in Texas and elsewhere
require limited edition prints for photography, giclee
prints from artworks(reproductions) and Digital Art prints
as well as traditional type prints (etchings etc.).
It's a rule of the show. Of course you can cheat, but
remember that selling a print as a limited edition is
IN FACT a legal contractual matter between the seller
and the buyer. If the buyer finds out you are cheating
he/she can sue you and/or your heirs.
In addition several states have laws on the books
that define Limited Edition art prints and have certain
requirements IF you choose to sell them.
