The word you're searching for is "application". The most common size
is 1920 pixels in length. Usually the show's instruction will give the
required size. If they don't, they probably don't understand the
difference and there's always trouble.
Zapplication, which handles many of the show apps, uses 1920 pixels on
the longest dimension.
