it's a wonderful state - unemployment is dropping steadily from the high 9's to
7% but remember that Art Fair Season starts in June for outdoor shows and then
it's still a dice roll for weather. Humid warm summers and cold winters.
Don't let the current unrest worry you, Wisconsinites are some of the
friendliest people you will ever meet (when not backed into a corner LOL).
A ton of fairs to choose from, the below link is the Wisconsin Art and Craft
Fair Directory.

Subject: [artshow_photo] Wisconsin - back to show suitability
Interesting comments. I've actually been considering moving to Wisconsin.
Although my current US collectors are in mostly Seattle / US West, the draw of
Wisconsin is the ability to have some land and be with friends and family.
Proximate to markets of Madison, Chicago and Minneapolis it seems doable for my
work. For the past several weeks I've been giving the area a hard look. It's a
lot of driving for shows but it's got a few major cities within easy driving
range. For art shows, depending on your market, it might be perfect.
