The Quantity vs. Quality question and answers got me to thinking about something I've been wrestling with as I enter my fourth season of shows.
How much do you "shake up" your booth from year to year? Do you think it's necessary to have lots of new images hanging in your booth or do you introduce only a few new ones? Or maybe no new ones?
I live in Chicago and do many of the same shows in the metro area from year to year, so I don't want to feel as if I'm going to bore repeat customers. But, there are also some images that are consistentely good sellers, so I don't want to jettison them.
And, as my work continues to evolve, I have a fair amount of new things I want to offer.
Also, as you introduce new work, how do you dispose of those old images that have never been as attractive to buyers as they are to you?
