Hi Larry,
I use Portfolio for my iPad. I drop it off at clients for a few days / a week at a time. It has dropbox integration, another great iPad (also available for mac / pc) app. It will allow you to review images and, of course, download them into the zapp system.
I use a lot of other apps for my photographic documentary and fine art business, but I don't do any editing on the iPad.
Showing artists the difference of your color correction at shows sounds like a great technique.
