Two years into doing fine art shows (in the North Texas area)--I find
myself coming up with new images for each show, along with framed stock that has
not yet sold. I am constantly out on photo shoots and each one yields
another image that I believe will be a keeper for a show, so I'll frame it and
print some prints of it. I also take some time for each show and drive around
the area to capture images in the event that I get to do that show again--so
I'll have some "local" familiar images people may prefer!
I jumped in full tilt as I started doing shows and had a good supply of
prints--and, luckily, the ones I "thought" would do well have! That's a tough
call, though!

Subject: [artshow_photo] Out with the old, in with the new?
The Quantity vs. Quality question and answers got me to thinking about something
I've been wrestling with as I enter my fourth season of shows.
How much do you "shake up" your booth from year to year? Do you think it's
necessary to have lots of new images hanging in your booth or do you introduce
only a few new ones? Or maybe no new ones?
