Actually - my store and forward that I had been using did not allow me to
have a seperate line item for tax either - so I calculate the tax and enter
in the total, tax included as the transaction amount.
With Square, you can output your transactions into a spreadsheet - so I will
use some quick formulas in the spreadsheet to separate the tax and item
amounts afterwards.
