Hi Joe
Too early to tell yet but I am going that route as well as the libraries, other than I have gone with photodeck rather than photoshelter as I preferred their pricing calculator – more flexible and Alamy like though takes a certain amount of setting up.
The trade off has to be the marketing time to be paid for from your greater share so whether it's more profitable in terms of time remains to be seen
