In the above story a political party used a RF image of a woman for an ad campaign. As you may have already guessed, their rivals put up ads using the same woman saying she changed her mind!

And this guy found one of those generic business people photos and reverse image searched. As you can imagine a whole bunch of companies use the same image in some cases implying these folks are in their employ.

Also one thing that turned my head and really irked me was the "local" ads from folks like LivingSocial "bucket lists" you see on Facebook. I see these ads for my area and thought, very interesting, wonder where that is? Turns out after a Tineye search that they were advertising San Francisco with a photo of Wisconson I think, and the cafe scene for Berkeley California was actually traced back to Winnipeg Canada.
