Also a regular artshow patron, I have noticed that the photographers/artists where I most eagerly want to see are the ones with one or two "signature works" that are predominently displayed, but many or most of the other supporting works are new and fresh. If you think about it, we often connect an artist with a particular image or work, and if marketed correctly, this can be the "signature image" that they are best remembered for.
