[artshow_photo] Re: When does a photo stop being a photo?

 

It is a photograph if it is created using light, a lens and a light receptive medium to capture the image. Doesn't matter if you manipulate one or multiple images and paint all over the prints afterwards--it's still a photograph. Most of the major shows will use this as the definition of the medium. There are a few photographers who jury under digital art, but most stay within photo nowadays.
