I've heard similar comments from people in the booth:
"everything now is photoshopped"
"digital has made EVERYONE better"
"of course it's photoshopped"
Unfortunately there's no way to educate those viewing what photographers do to say a RAW image to get it ready for print because those same viewers thought that their 4x6 film prints from the drug store did not have anything done to them when going from the negative to the paper which is the furthest from the truth. They just don't know what has been involved in getting a good photographic print through the history of photography It's an education issue yet without a good way to educate.
