As far as the canvases, I'd recommend using 2 hooks per piece - and possibly considering taking light-gauge coated wire (picture hanging wire) and, using some foam to act as a barrier between the wire and the canvas, weaving the wire through the mesh walls behind the canvas and over the front, securing it at the bottom w/ a couple of twists. The wire is close to clear - and though it won't be invisible, it's still better than perhaps having your masterpieces go flying off down the lane.
One other consideration might be to make sure than any canvas that is hung has a canvas of equal measurements hanging behind it (i.e., one facing into the inside of the display area, and one backing it, on the other side of the mesh. That minimizes at least a little bit the amount of air that can slip between the canvases.
I hope the winds don't cause any trouble for you - kudos for trying to mitigate the potential problems in advance. Let us know how things turn out for you, if you have a chance after the show.
Light and laughter,

Subject: [artshow_photo] HELP - I need an answer FAST (Thank you)
We are doing our second art show this weekend and the winds are supposed to be 20 - 30 MPH. (First show went fine) We have a 10 x 10 Trimline with solid walls and also mesh walls. We mainly hang canvas prints, both framed and unframed. We are supposed to set the canopy up this afternoon, as the show starts tomorrow morning. Will be real windy this afternoon.
Any suggestions on how to configure the tent and walls when you have a lot of wind? How to attach the canvases in a more secure manner? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
We have four weight bags (50 lbs each) and two buckets with 50 lbs of sand....can always get more. My main concern is the canvases hanging on the walls.
Thank you.
