Amen to that. At least I can save some money and not apply to Cherry Creek.
What ever happened to pretty art that makes you feel good? Photography
seems to have digressed into being judged by process rather than results.

Lee - thanks for sharing this. It is, in my opinion, both informative AND
scary. Not to mention depressing and discouraging. I thought many of the
images to be pure crap, but I suppose it comes across to many jurors as
"cutting edge" art.
Since many are returning photographers, one can only presume they are
successful in actually selling something to someone; at least enough to make
the show worthwhile to do again.
It is what it is, but to me it ain't a purty picture.
