An insurance company has just developed a policy especially for art fair
artists and their shows. You can get a 3 day show policy even -- pretty
interesting. They are new advertisers on ArtFairInsiders.com. It may be what

Most likely you won't find insurance that isn't for a year term. It's not
the the insurer's interest. I'm even seeing credit card merchant accounts
eliminate being able to turn your account on and off as needed. Instead they
want a 1 year term contract.
The insurance you need is enough to cover the value of what you have at the
show taking into account your selling price of items along with your display
components (tent, walls, bins, etc.)
