I have created "Title/Price Tags" that include my logo and contact information, a line saying "Title: ____________" and a line below it w/ "Price: _____________" , all in pretty blue ink that matches my logo color, against a glossy white cardstock paper.
I center the text, so that there is a space before the "price" line for me to input the size of the piece. I make them small enough to still be readable, but minimize the visual impact they make. They don't detract, they have all the pertinent information needed, and they fit in either the space formed by the mat, in my matted pieces, or they slip neatly under any of the clips I use w/ my clip -framed items.
When I'm displaying in a gallery, or retail environment, I can place the tags neatly beside each image, on the wall beside the piece.
When I am doing an outdoor show featuring my larger gallery wraps, I will do special tags that are 4x5 inch sized, and will place them in a sleeve from Clearbags.com and affix them to the mesh walls of my canopy display. The bags keep the tags looking pristine, and since each of my wraps is 'backed' by another wrap on the other side of the mesh wall, I put the two title tags together, one one one side of the mesh, and one on the other, using a bit of artist's putty to hold them in place.
Hope this helps.
Light and laughter,
Deb Booth

How do you all mark/price your pieces? I've been taping price tags to the sides of the frames but I think that looks tacky.
Just curious what you all do.
