This is what I have been trying to get at when it comes to marketing: if you are a food photographer try to appeal to people beyond just your photography. Offering recipes and allowing readers to contribute their own could really pump up interest in your blog. You might even find yourself doing and enjoy something quite a bit different from what your original intention was.
