[artshow_photo] Laser printer vs. inkjet printer

I have to replace my (cheap) printer. The vast majority of the time, I have my images printed by a local professional who does a great job. I prefer to let him have the headache of maintaining a giant and expensive printer. However, there are some images that if I want to print them small, have worked out quite well on my now deceased HP PhotosmartC5180 printer/copier/scanner.

I'm looking for opinions on whether to replace the HP inkjet printer with a laser color printer (that also has scanning and copying capabilities) or not. I'm pulled to a laser printer because I don't print in color very much, and the laser ink is dry already and will stay good for much longer than ink cartridges for an inkjet printer.

Thanks ahead of time for any opinions.
