I've been doing this as well. In one of the galleries I'm in the bins weren't large enough for 16x20 so I started putting an 11x14 on a backer board for stability in the clear bags that I use for matted 8x10s. They have been selling reasonably well. It's very easy to do -- all I have to do is make a label.
