It's late and I am tired so I am going to give you the short version without
the lengthy explanation. If you give it some thought, you can figure out the

The limited edition in the non-photographic art world makes sense. In fine
art photography the limited edition is a way to make certain that if there
is money to be made from your photographs, you won't make it, speculators
will. In other words, it is a way to cheat you out of the value of your own
work.
Don't do it and don't participate in anything where it is required of you.
