Frankly, I would suggest you not jump from 1990's software
(Frontpage) to 2001 software (Dreamweaver). Do yourself a
favor and look a little further into today's CMS software.
(That's Content Management Systems)
I built my web sites for some time with Dreamweaver MX.
And if you like laboriously making each web page by hand
that's the best tool IMHO. However, today's state of the art is not
to hand code each page, in fact don't code any pages at all.
You simply set up template, style sheets and navigation structure
and upload text and pictures into a database. The web pages
are generated on the fly. It becomes dirt simple to add, delete
content or edit existing content. In addition almost any feature
you could ask for is available as a free plug in extension -
photo galleries, discussion forums, calendars, rss feeds. etc.
Most hosting companies will provide this software for you for
free. They are browser based so run as apps in your browser.
Look into WordPress and Joomla. See if your hosting company
has them ready to install for free with one click.
