[artshow_photo] Re: Image organization apps for iPad?

> Are there any iPad apps that will do this?

You'd have to build a database to do it. I've been looking for ways to do html search on image meta tags, and as easy as it sounds, there are no easy ways to get there, except with a database like Canto Cumulus, for example.

I think at shows you may be better off putting images on a site, PhotoShelter, for example, and doing a web search. Or paring down your image selection so that you can put your hands on it using available tools such as Portfolio or Picasa to do a directed search with your client.

Portfolio works well if you don't put too many images in an album. I can get to an image quickly IF I can remember in which album it is. You have to know your material well, and sometimes it'll trip you up. But I haven't found an iPad app or a web app that will do a competent keyword search without completely rekeywording for the app.
