[artshow_photo] Re: Labor Day Weekend Art Show at Queeny Park in St. Louis

Thanks, Michael. I'm returning to Florida from two shows in the Chicago area, and might just try to use that weekend on the way home.

Indoors, good hours, fairly easy set up, and always a pleasant atmosphere. It's run by the Greater St Louis Art Association. Extremely high quality amongst all exhibitors.

In the years I was there, I noted some photographers that came & went, while a few, like myself, returned each year. So it's hard to say what photo sales may be. Spring show sales were never as good as the Labor day show. Booths are set in rows on a large "rink" floor, with no bad spots (other than the distance to the concessions and bathrooms). There were locker rooms on one side where we could store our boxes and keep extra stock. My only complaint was the 8x10 booth size. It was a tight fit for sure. There were no double booths at the time, but they did allow a couple of exhibitors to share 3 booths, giving them an 8x15 each. Not sure what their current policy is on that. My own sales for the 8-10 years I was there were above average, and worth the 6 hour trip from Nashville.
