If you asked for permission did you get her to sign a release? Written document trumps the verbal agreement every day. Since you thought you need permission then it's wise to followup with the release. Give her permission to use the image for her personal/business use in exchange for the larger release.
As an aside buildings are not protected by copyright. Ask any architect.
