Thank you Larry, this is the kind of information someone new to the art-show scene needs.
From reading previous posts, many people say to treat it like a business, not an art, others disagree. It seems the consensus is there is not consensus.
Since I seemed to receive conflicting information, I asked the question.
I was just trying to figure out what people will buy to hang on their wall, very different than what I consider fine art photography.
Having an art show IS a business and without a little market research, it is a waste of time, money and effort (having an art-fair show, not producing art that is).
