The bulbs cost between $300 and $400.

To answer Alison's question, the computer/laptop needs to support
wide screen viewing to send the image to the projector properly. And
the projector needs to match the proportion of the computer. And the
screen needs to match the proportions also. There are many issues.
But if your screen is 4:3 proportion, the wide screen image should
fill up the width of the screen, not the height.

I always mask my non proportional images with black so that all that
is seen is the image.
