Re: [Bulk] [artshow_photo] Print Bins

I had a similar problem with some print bins I ordered from Dick Blick -
They were
the small size bins for 8x10's matted to 11x14. They were obviously
table top bins
and this was not noted. The actual size (folded up) was listed but I
guess it just
didn't register with me. I found a small plastic fold-up table about 24
inches by 36 inches
and standard table height which was too tall. I cut the legs down and
added rubber boots on
the bottom of the legs. Two of the small bins just barely fit. The
table was black with
black tubing legs.. It was very sturdy and light weight. It was sold
at Pep Boys as a "mechanics"
table for engine dissassembly. If I remember right it was about $20
about 4 years ago.I still have
the bins and table, but I no longer carry them around with me. I just
use a Rubber Maid tub and
set it on the ground under the larger bins. I point it out if I think a
customer is distressed by the
prices of the larger prints. I offer to pull the tub up and set it in
my director's chair so they don't
have to get on the ground to look thru it. This is all part of my
de-emphasizing the smaller prints.
This is working as I am selling more larger prints and fewer small ones.
