First I must congratulate you for going into the 21st century with a new/better forum. However there will be a lot of resistance because people don't like change and new things.
So I have to think you will lose 70% of the reader/lurkers with only a few going to the new site voluntarily. My gut feeling is that MOST people on the email list are lurkers with a core group of responders. The big question is how many responders will go over.
I think it's a 10 to 1 ratio responders to lurkers.
