Thank you, Mike. In searching more extensively I did find a sales and use tax form on the site and there was even a phone number listed on the form to call for a MN tax ID number. I just tried to call but no one answered. The message was hopeful though because it did NOT say that the office was closed due to the government shut-down. I was just calling too early, I hope. I'll try again during office hours.
One way or another, I am sending them a check, and fast. The 20th of the month is coming soon!
