I recall someone saying in the past that bleach will eat the stitching. Be
careful with this method.

Hi Larry,
The best and probably the cheapest way to clean mold or mildew off is to buy
a gallon of cheap bleach. Mix with 2 or 3 parts water. Adding some detergent
will also help get any dirt and grease off at the same time. Wet the tent
with the solution and let sit a few minutes. The bleach actually kills the
mold so it won't come back. You can see it change color as it sits. Scrub it
with an old mop or rag and then rinse off.
