First, you obviously underestimate the impact of the iPhone and iPad,
neither of which can display Flash. And nobody can really estimate the
number of us that notice we're getting bogged down in a Flash site and
promptly go elsewhere if the content isn't unique.
If you can't convince me almost instantly that your site is the only one
on the planet that can satisfy the need I am feeling, I'm out of there.
Also, are you actually interested in hosting "really awesome
slideshows"? Wouldn't it be a lot better to present awesome photography,
without the effects and transitions that detract attention from your
images and complicates the visitor's ability to view the images as they
wish? The point of an RAS is not to sell photography, it's to sell Flash
services and websites.
