I am a photographer and my forte is all post processing. It's my niche' I suppose and if you want to start to learn post processing I suggest you start one button at a time. As mentioned the cloning tool is a very nice tool for cleaning things up.
Just one step at a time - no hurry! There are dozens of you tube photo shop videos out there.
Lightroom - I'll really have to look into that one!
