The best jump start to your PS CS3 skills is Scott Kelby's book:
After you read and try out the examples in that then Lynda.com is great. But
Kelby's book will be at hand and you can easily have it on hand to check out
a technique, tougher to do with a video. He uses a cookbook style which
cover the basics of photoshop for photographers.
