A reasoned approach has never interested people. If you look at the cult figures, they are often crazy, raving figures. Even Jesus came across as someone who was thought of as crazy. Hitler rose to power because of his irrational, raving speeches. Even old Slobodan "Slobo" Milosevic achieved power and stayed there only because of his completely irrational speeches and illogical ways of doing things. And Charles Manson - had he been just a logical rational figure who know about him now??
