My first show I grossed $140 ($225 booth fee), I had some visitors that
mostly asked me if I had "pictures" of Michael Jordan, my neighbors kept
sneaking extra stock and cardboard under my side wall and smoking in front
of my booth, and at the end of the show parked their van/trailer tandem
about 3 inches from the front of my booth. I had to sneak out the back and
cry a little. It was windy and about 102 degrees.
BUT I won the printmaking prize! (I was the only printmaker in the show)
Keep on living and learning!!! :-) Maria

Subject: [artshow_photo] My First Show.
Hey All,
Thanks again for the encouragement/advice before. My first show was this
past weekend and it was both good and not-so-good. The latter being partly
my own fault, but still. I sold nothing, but did have a good number of folks
coming through my booth who had a lot of good things to say about my
landscape photography.
