I'm not sure you can go by those stats as to the market. It's more
likely that the higher the number of posts, the more new comers there
are to art shows, since they generally ask the most questions.

I've been doing shows a little over 6 years, and have seen a steady
increase in sales every year, with this year being my best. Now I wasn't
in shows during the hay day, so my numbers have just caught up with a
lot of the older veterans current numbers, and may never see the BIG
numbers. I seem to be keeping up with my painter friends that I do a lot
of shows with as well. A little over 1/3rd of my income comes from shows.

It's not easy, I'm always looking for better opportunities, better
shows, better presentation, new images that sell, and generally work an
8 day week to make it happen. . .
