I'm not such an old-timer, I started in 2004, but I had my best year ever in
2008. It had a "feeding frenzy" type of feel, like a party at the end of
the world. People were buying everything they wanted because they knew that
next year they wouldn't be able to... then came 2009. After barely breaking
even at Cherry Creek (some artists there in 2009 didn't even make expenses),
I decided to take a year off. If you can't make money at Cherry Creek, it's
baaad.
