Maybe I am living in a perfect situation. If so, I am counting myself blessed and lucky I guess.
I hardly never get people wanting to know "what camera you use" What lens? What location? What filter? Where at? and any other silly questions.
Mind you I do get afew serious shooters who ask me some questions. Which I happily answer.
I will tell them all secrets. Why. Because I am very confident of what I do. It has taken me over 20 years to gain my knowledge and vision.
VISION-me telling someone how I did it will no way give them the power to recreate what I did.
They do not have the vision that I do. Thats why people look at my work in the gallery or art shows and say "Wow, I want that"
Not "Wow, I want that if you tell me how you did it"
The questions I get are from amtuers, or advanced amtuers.
Happy to help. Hell, I hope that I inspire someone to create beautifull images. Someday that person may create an image that I wnat to hang on my wall.
Pros every once in a blue moon will stop by and talk.
This is great because they see the quality work and appreciate it.
I will talk their ear off, and have had several of them buy my work.
So, my collectors and first timers will buy because they are moved.
Soryy to go, but the last poster about my methods got me going
