[artshow_photo] Re:Black and White paper

Hi OScar,
Jim asked you some valid questions. I also come from a wet dark room
ions ago....When I got into the digital age of cameras I had my work
that I would exhibit printed with a custom lab.....Since I have gotten
more involved with photo groups, critques and shows I took the plunge
and bought the epson 3880 over the summer......spent a fortune on
papers.......I LOVE IT!!!!! I don't print alot only things I show but
I have to tell you the control one has and variety of papers can't be
beat!

I have also found that the papers I bought are of better quality then
the professional lab but then again I didn't have them print on
exhibition paper......As far as money I think in the long run you
would save money depending on the lab you used.....

"Hi

I trying to reduce the experiment. Can you be so kind to recomend a
paper for
black and white prints. I am scanning my black and white negs and
printed in a
digital lab.
I was planning to use Iprintfromhome but I may consider getting a
Epson 3880 if
you can give good reasons for it.

Thanks
