I use an "older" ford minivan. it is an extended model. holds full size
panels easily.
I have removed all seats except for the front. great little cargo box.
I purchased several years ago and almost immediately had a "crate engine"
out of O'reillys installed.
gets about 25 to the gal.
Recently I have been looking into a 27 ft RV, "older" vehicle.
I believe that they can be acquired for in the range of $2-3,000 with maybe
50,000 or so miles.
(RV Trader).
the plan would be to get one with a floor plan with couch and table in the
middle area.
then strip that area and install a "toy loading door" in place of the
window.
Advantages: still have sleeping and kitchen near rear and lots of center
area storage.
Has anyone tried this? any comments/suggestions?
I have a definite aversion to pulling a trailer.
Lots of experience on the road, very little at large art events.
in the past I was driving a large conversion van as much as 50,000 miles a
year.

Subject: [artshow_photo] Is Anyone Using a Mini Van
I'm going to be out all morning so I won't be able to respond right away.
I'm thinking of getting a used (low mileage) minivan and applying to
some shows next year. I'll probably pick up a heavy duty EZUp type
canopy and mesh walls. Is anyone using a mini van and have any suggestions.
Also, which is the most sturdy pop up canopy that I can use mesh
walls with. Almost feels like I'm starting over.
Thanks,
Larry
