[artshow_photo] Exclusive Marketing ( was First Year Anniversary Contest )

 

Hi Carl,

My perspective is that that, regardless of platform, all of a
company's marketing and promotional programs should flow "upstream" to their
primary web site. Making a promotion specific to only Facebook users or only
Twitter users only serves to alienate the customer base who are not
participants and may significantly dilute the original intent and
investment.

Andrew, your product is excellent and in fact just yesterday I used mine I
received in last year's giveaway.
However, I object to companies that require a person to be a Facebook user
to participate in any of their programs. Yes, I'm sure the vast majority of
people are Facebook users but I long ago canceled my account with them as
their security and other problems skyrocketed. I think my decision has
been a wise one as not a week passes that I don't read a story about more
problems with security and privacy on Facebook.
