Hi Oscar:
That may be true, but most people have a mouse, PC keyboard (the cmd/ctrl/alt buttons can be reversed in System Prefs or with a utility for those who want to use a PC keyboard) and a monitor. If not, a monitor will add $200-$800. Plus, I personally find the glossy iMac screens uncomfortable to use. There are anti-glare films, but it's difficult to apply them perfectly.
