Re: [artshow_photo] Re: New Mac Computer

Most of the Blue Screen has gone away with Win 7 and especially Win 7 64.
Just a little from my experience. I have been a long time PC user and
builder.
I am not a techie but decided over ten years ago that I need to know just
how
computers worked so I searched the internet and decided to build my own
using parts that I knew and were recommended. It's remarkably easy but not
a money saver.
Two years ago VW gave my wife a top end Mac for a film project that she waw
doing
for them. We have been running both platforms side by side. They are
almost
identical except for some fairly minor differences. Both have the same
amount of
RAM. My PC is considerably faster and in my opinion easier to use but this
may
be because I've used PC's for 20 years and the Mac for only a couple. The
G5>
monitor not as good as the high end business HP LP2475w that I use.
The Win 7 OS is superior, in my opinion, to the latest MAC. When something
goes wrong with the PC it's easy to run down to the computer store and grab
a
replacement part. I would have no idea how to fix a MAC. I am still, after
two years,
trying to get the MAC to recognize the router for internet access.
