Seriously, as a consumer, or "reader", how interested are you in reading about the day to day image taking of the average blogger. There's a hard limit to the number of blogs I'm interested or have time to look at in a day, and none of them are "here's a picture of my dog" writings. And I never click on sidebar ads or any other type. I will click on sponsored ads on google, because when I'm on google, I'm actively searching for something, and those ads are targeted. If I'm reading dpreview or something, I already have all the camera equipment and belong to all the stock sites I care for.
