[artshow_photo] Camera gift for college grad 'kid'

any suggestions for a camera for a gift? = our daughter has a crappy
one, she mainly uses it to take pics of friends and post on Facebook
[not photography as art or whatever] - should be small but do a good
job of taking pics on travels and of friends = she's used to Canon's
dials etc but probably can handle anything
